It is with great honor to annouce that Geoff Shapiro, a founder of the Committee for Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (C-TECC) and past chair, has been awarded the 2025 Dr. Scott B. Frame Service Award by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) at the 2025 World Trauma Symposium earlier this week.

This award is bestowed on individuals who, through their actions, demonstrate their commitment to improving access to high quality trauma care. NAEMT recognizes and applauds Geoff's commitment to civilian tactical trauma care for EMS clinicians. As a founder of C-TECC, Geoff has dedicated himself to building and strengthening the very foundation on which our work rests. His leadership, vision, and unwavering dedication to improving Tactical Emergency Casualty Care have had a profoundly positive impact not only on C-TECC but also on the broader EMS and public safety community.

Please join the Committee in congratulating Geoff on this extraordinary and well-deserved recognition.
