Dr Allen Yee is board certified in emergency medicine and emergency medical services. He currently serves as the fulltime operational medical director for Chesterfield Fire and EMS. He also holds a faculty appointment as an assistant professor of emergency medicine at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine (VCU).
Dr Yee received his undergraduate degree at New York University and his medical degree at State University of New York at Stonybrook. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at State University of New York at Buffalo.
He is active in the American College of Emergency Physicians’ EMS committee, American Academy of Emergency Medicine’s EMS committee, and several committees in National Association of EMS Physicians. He has participated in national projects such as National Model EMS Clinical Guidelines project.
Clinically, he works at VCU Department of Emergency Medicine. He provides field care as an EMS Physician as part of his duties with Chesterfield Fire and EMS. He serves as a tactical medicine provider with Chesterfield and the Virginia State Police Division 1. He is also serves as one of the medical team managers for FEMA Virginia Task Force 2 urban search and rescue team.
